The world of film photography is one filled with mystery and suspense. After a while you can get the hang of each camera and its abilities and limitations, but you can never really know exactly what will happen. It is only that moment that you develop your negatives and make prints that you finally see what the result is. In a world of instant gratification, it provides some magic and mystery to an otherwise digital lifestyle. My two cameras at the moment are an early 70's Olympus OM-1 with a 50mm lens and a mid-fifties twin lens Rolliecord V.
